Forth practice for jazz group
This is the forth time I practice "Summertime". I had to practice to prepare my final assessment which is group performance. After I practice together with my group, I practice at home. In this video I did good. So, I will keep practicing to get a maximum score for this group assessment. I will also practice again with my group.
Third practice for jazz group
This is the third time I practice for the jazz group. In this video I did quite good and I did a change because Mr. Harry, my supervisor, asked us to do it. I gave a break after the intro. But, I still need to practice to get a maximum score for the final assessment which is group performance.
Second practice for jazz group
This is the second time, I practice for the jazz group. In this video I did some improvements such as I played the notes correctly and try to play it with a correct tempo. But, to get a maximum score for this group assessment I will practice more especially with my group.

In this video, I practice for my jazz group. We will play "Summertime". Actually, I will play an organ, the string one. In this video, I didn't do it well because I think I didn't play it with the right tempo. I also did some mistakes. So, I will practice more to get a good score for this group assessment.

Today is the first music class in term 4. First of all, we discussed about music role in the society. Then Mr. Herry divided us into four groups for music presentation. My group is Jennie, Jacintha, and Michelle. After that, Mr Herry explained about jingle music and asked us to make our own jingle music in finale. I quite understood about this one. To improve my performance, I will do my task better.

Today, Mr.Herry asked us to sit with our music presentation group to discussed about our presentation and make a draft. After my group discussed about it and wrote a draft, we presented it in front of the class. We did good and got some feedbacks from Mr. Herry. After that, Mr. Herry asked us to rewrite our draft on a piece of paper that he gave us and submit it to him. While discussing, all of my group member participated by gave some ideas. So, me and my group will do our best for our first assessment.

Today, we presented about the music role in the society and submit our finale. Mr. Heery also asked us to write a comment about another group's performance but there was one group that wasn't ready to do the presentation. My group did good but we didn't do our best because we didn't prepare well. So, I will prepare for my next assessment.

Today we had a rehearsal for our final assessment. My group is Jennie, Daniel, Gregorius, and Anthony. We got the first turn and we played "Summertime". We did very good but we still need to do some improvements and keep practicing. We also got some feedbacks from our friends and Mr. Herry. We will try to improve our performance. Not only that, Mr. Herry also asked us to write a comment for another group. So, to get a good score for my final assessment, I will practice more with my group.

Today, we listened to our finale about jingle song. After we listened to the song we had to give feedbacks to our friends' song. I also got some feedbacks about my jingle song. Actually, I wasn't really satisfied with my song and I was planning to change it. So, I will try to make a better one and concern the feedbacks that had given to me. Not only that, I will also prepare for the duet assessment.

Today, we had a rehearsal for the duet assessment. Me, Jennie, and Jacintha haven't practice yet and we haven't choose the song that we'll sing for the assessment. So, we decided to sang "Love Story" by Taylor Swift as it's the only song that we remembered the lyric. We didn't sang well. Actually, we have already try to practice together but, we always changed the song and because of that, we haven't practice the song. So, we will practice more and decide for the song that we will sing for the assessment.

Today, we had our duet assessment. Mr. Herry asked to give comments for each performance. My group sang"Firework" by Katy Perry. I think we didn't sing it very well and forgot some part of the lyric. To impove my next performance, I will prepare well.
1. Eric, Martinus, Ardhito- the song is good but, they have to practice more to improve their peformance and memorize the lyric
2. Rifky and Nissa- they sang the song very well. It's very enjoyable and they could memorized the lyric.
3. Pandu and Imez- they sang very well and very enjoyable but they have to try to memorize the lyric so, they will get a better score
4. Michelle and Aldi- they sang well and the song is very good. But, they have to try to memorize the lyric. Aldi also have to try to be more confident and practice more.

Today Mr. Herry showed us some videos about music genre. The videos were amazing. Then, we saw Greg and Adrian performance. We also gave comments about their performance. After that, we had the jazz group rehearsal. My group got the first turn and we did it well. We played "Summertime". The teachers also said that my group is very good. Today, we had two special guests. They are James F. Sundah and his wife, Pricillia Sundah. They are good musicians. Mr. James played his own song titled "Lilin-lilin kecil" and his wife sang it and it was very awesome. They have a mission to increase the Indonesian's music in the world. After their visit, Mr. Herry asked us to write a reflection about our jingle music. I did it quite well although I didn't do really fast. We have our final assessment next week on Wednesday. Our assessment is the jazz group performance so, I and my group will practice more.

Today, we had our jazz group rehearsal again. My group got the first turn but we didn't do it as good as our previous rehearsal because there is a change in our song but we haven't practice yet. After our performance, Mr. Herry gave us some feedbacks. One of them is I had to make the beat faster. Then, we watched the other group performance. We also practice with Mr. Harry and watched the last group performance. So, to get good score for this final assessment, I will practice harder with my jazz group.

Today is the second music class in term 3. As usual, Mr. Herry checked our attendance and our resources first. Then, he gave us a pre-knowledge quiz about the jazz. Before start the quiz, he gave us about fifteen minutes to prepare. Then, the quiz begun. I did it good but, I think I did a mistake. After the quiz, Mr. Herry gave us the jazz modes. I understood about this. He also gave us homework. So, I will do it.
In instrument session, I practice the jazz modes. I did it bad because I wasn't fluent. So, I will practice more at home.

Today, Mr. Herry gave us jazz music sheet. He asked us to work in pair. After read it for awhile, Mr. Herry asked us to answer the questions that he gave us, pair by pair. Me and Jennie answered the questions well. Then, mr. Herry asked us to practice the jazz modes in our instrument session. I did not do it well as I played not fluent. To improve this, I will practice the jazz modes with the right hand melody and the left hand melody.

Today, Mr. Herry asked us to submit our first essay. After submitted, we saw a video jazz. They are playing very good and although they are still in the middle school, they prepared very seriously. Then, we practice "I got rhythm" song together to prepare for the coming singing assessment. We also practice that song with our instrument group. I didn't sing that song well because this is the first time I heard that song. Mr. Herry also taught us about the twelve bar blues. I will do my second task and try to practice "I Got Rhythm" song. In instrument session, I practice the simple chord progression. But, I didn't do it well and fluent. To improve this, I will try to practice more at home.

Today, we only had one session because of ISA test. We also had our first singing assessment. We had to sing "I Got Rhythm". I got the first turn. I was very nervous besides I forgot that we had an assessment today. So, I only prepared this in school and it's not enough actually. But, the good thing is I could remembered the lyric although I didn't sing with accurate pitch. To improve this, I will try to be more organize so, I can prepare for the next assessment and also try to practice my pitch. As we had not enough time, so, we didn't have the instrument class.

Today, after checked our attendance and our resources, we discussed the 12 bar blues and learned how to make it. After that, we had to make our own creation. It was very hard to do as it was the first time i created the 12 bar blues. I didn't do it well because I didn't really concentrate and I didn't really understand the notes. To improve this, I will try to learn about blues and try to fix some notes.

Today, we had an assessment about our own 12 bar blues creation. we had to perform it according to our instrument group. I think i didn't do t very well because i did some mistakes on notes and rhythm. maybe this is because i was too nervous and didn't prepare well. so, to improve my performance, i have to try to be more confident and i have to prepare for my assessment. Then, we practice with our supervisor, Mr. Harry Wisnu. He asked us to practice. I had to play walking bass and the chords. I think I didn't do it very well as it was my first time. But, I will try to improve my performance by practice more and I will also prepare for this group assessment by practice with my group member.
